Oh the cogs, Members.  Those spurs that travel round and round to meet, sync up, then leave one and other until the next revolution. Appropriated by steampunk, quietly, but not perpetually, in motion, keeping time, transmitting torque so you can move with beyond bipedality. Yes, Members, gears have a whole nomenclature and industriousness to themselves. This week, though the gear ratio might feel tightly-wound, remember the difference between anger and outrage is similar to that between gear and sprocket: gears are multivalent, variable and propelling; a sprocket is just a gear that only knows how to yank a chain.
