Today, you are a member of… Hear and There
If you bust on through and go supersonic, Members, can you still hear yourself think? Mach 1 would seem to pose an odd question for those with proclivities toward the self-blab. But the technical and scientific answer is yes, you can hear yourself think, scream or recite Grover Cleveland’s inaugural address when traveling faster than the speed of sound because the assumption is, your travel is that which is happening inside an aeroplane. In said situations, the air outside might perhaps be supersonic, but the air inside a Chuck Yeager Bell-X or Jackie Cochrin F86 is all fine, all of the time. Lesson being: Insides, Outsides – it’s all hear, there. May as well crack that whip, give the past the slip and travel as fast as you want to.
