Gigaton, Members. Say it three times fast. It’s used to denote things involving billions, like the explosive force of one billion tons of TNT or the multiple billions of tons of ice that are melting into the North Sea or the billions of billions of tons of Carbon Dioxide humans expulse into the atmosphere yearly. Any way you envision it, it’s A LOT. And though theorecally it’s good to know how much is a lot, and even to strive in one’s dreams for a lot, this week, maybe see to it not to rely on the ever-expanding ‘a lot’ so much. Leave monstrosity to the monsters and go quantum for a change. After all, just because something is small doesn’t mean it ain’t infinite.
