Full moon this week members. But instead of packing silver bullets or howling at said celestial orb, why not grab a sandwich and take a trip to check out that strange geography which tidal forces keep from earthbound eyes. Never a better time to hang out in a new hemisphere either, since 52 years ago today, the Soviet launch probe Luna 3 gave us the first images of that cratered, sea-less landscape on the other side of the moon. And whereas the Dark Side of the Moon is a relative thing to the sun, the Far Side of the Moon is a land permenantly pointed away from the earth, in all it’s silliness. So this week: you have a map and you have a module. Be sure to get far out.
