Today, you are a member of… The Double-Whammy
Beware the Ides of March, members. Especially if the Ides fall within the same cycle as an upped Daylight Saving Time. Yes, this week we lose both time and Gaius Julius Caesar, the former to the Energy Department and the latter to a group of senator assassins. Prepare to feel funky as light gets displaced and the Dictator Perpetuus gets shived. It’s a lose-lose siuation. There is an argument to be made, however, that life is short regardless and indeed, sic semper tyrannis. So if you are feeling the double whammy, repeat after Ben Franklin-cum-Caeser: “I was pleased to see this general concern for economy, for I love economy exceedingly. Veni, Vidi, Vici.”
