Today, you are a member of … Shadows and Gravity

Members, if you are alive on our particular orbiting rock, you have two things in common with every other bit of biodiversity in our zip code: Shadows and Gravity.  Everything here evolved with regard to the giant nuclear furnace we refer to as ‘The Sun’ and the astronomical constant we call Gravity. The upshot to that is that all things living in Earth’s bivouac can count on the one day that when our shadows and gravity will inevitably collide in the states we so-name “death” or “taxes.” This includes all fruits and nuts, especially orange ones and those really into guns.  So take heart, Members, despite our spate of reverse projections and the agit-propagational speed, physics tells us that shadows cannot not move faster than light and escape velocity can always be calculated.
