Today, you are a member of… To the Stacks!

Hey Members: this week, it’s Gutenberg-a-go-go, so do John Adams a favor will you? And read a book. After all, today is the day he signed legislation that founded the Library of Congress. Noooooo – that is not the same as reading digitized text on a device. A fine hobby in itself, but not equivalent to putting a half-cube filled with spine-hubbed, two dimentional multiplicities adjacent to your head. As such, reading a book involves single-tasked, analog objects that rely on your brain to fill in the blanks, not your thumb to search the web to sate curiosity. So to the stacks! You’ll live to come back and tell the tale.
