Today, you are a member of… The Society of No Bullet Points

Lists are great, members – little externalized pssts, out there to get the attention of your memory when needed. That said, if lists proliferate, they can start looking like orders and such demands can make a brain list and a member listless, looking like Sonny Liston in the corner exactly 47 years ago today, when he refused to answer the bell for the 7th round with one Louisville Lip. And, if like Liston, your not liking the itemization you’re getting, best to remember what Franz Liszt said about truth, that it’s “a great flirt” and veer from the script this week. Because your memory is better than you think and anyway there is always mnemonics and really, who wants their paper bossing them around?
