This week, Members, has as its Saturday the anti-holiday, Walpurgis Night. That’s right, as the shadowy precursor to the squaresville, May Day, Walpurgis Night is the time when those of us with witchy, sorcerer inclinations can get together, build a bonfire, and dance, dance, dance. So if you feel like you are going round and round in circles with whatever your current projects are in these, the remaining days of April that will alchemize into May, eschew the beast demanding linear methods and try a different philosophical tact. After all, circles, if understood in the three dimensions, are really loopy, odd orbits and when The Weird Sisters, hand in hand / Posters of the sea and land / Thus do go about, about / Thrice to thine and thrice to mine / And thrice again, to make up nine / – you know what they found? / Peace! The charm’s wound up!
