Chicken. Whether rubber, or salad, or childrens book character, the noble creature known as Gallus gallus domesticus, relation to the junglefowl and, ultimately, dinosaurs, is most often a handy stand-in for running like hell in the easiest opposite direction. And in turn Members, you get a bye from those non metaphorical demons that incite analogs of rhetorically chickenish behavior. And if you have trouble keeping the feathers out of your head, remember: just because it tastes like chicken, doesn’t mean you gotta eat it.
